About Our Client
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are offering a salary up to £30,000 which is dependent on experience.
The successful candidate will be joining a great team and play a vital role in their finance function in Ashbourne.
This is a 100% office based role.
Job Description
Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Assist with the process of payments and transactions
* Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
* Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
* Supporting the preparation of financial reports and month end procedures
* Prepare and process employee expenses
* Handling customer and supplier queries
* Maintaining financial records
* Adhoc duties that may be required
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Assistant:
* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant position
* Knowledge of accounting software
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Strong numerical skills
* Ability to manage workload effectively
* Excellent communication
* AAT qualifications (desirable)
* Able to commute to our client's office in Ashbourne
