GBR Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a highly competitive temporary buildings/semi-permanent structures manufacturing & installation company recruiting for a highly experienced Area Sales Manager to drive & secure business across a defined territory spanning the South West of the UK, the West Midlands & Wales.
In this Technical/Solutions sales role, you will be tasked with maximizing your set region's sales turnover from sales & hire of the varying portable building products of different specifications, sizes & capacities.
Do you come from the competitive temporary structures industry sector, modular builds, portable cabins, or similar product ranges? If so, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Devise your own sales strategy/targets to achieve revenue KPI targets.
2. Convert new product enquiries into site surveys, progressing to a successful product sales conversion specific to the clients' needs (face-to-face sales), delivering a real solution for their event, storage, warehousing, temporary working area, or other bespoke client needs.
3. Expand current business relationships, winning new business with existing clients.
4. Update the SD with pipelines, forecasted sales, trends & set accounts.
5. Maintain contact with all major customers to uphold hire & sales volumes, plus explore any forthcoming additional needs.
6. Deliver technical & bespoke portable building solution presentations.
7. Effectively & accurately quote for new business to secure the sales win.
8. Consult with all clients on the best portable building solution.
9. Consult clients on various finance options.
10. Keep the CRM Database up to date with all sales activity (calls, visits, quotes & proposals, pipelines/forecasts, etc.).
This role will suit someone working as a Territory Sales Manager, Sales Manager, UK Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Technical Sales Executive, Technical Sales Manager, Solution Sales Manager, Solution Sales Executive, or similar.
Ideal backgrounds would be modular buildings, garden buildings, racking systems, portable offices, pre-fabricated buildings, commercial buildings construction, industrial buildings construction, or similar.
Interviews to take place immediately, with a potential August start (depending on notice periods).
