Reporting to the Head of Corporate IT, this role will provide 1st and some 2nd line IT Support services to MHR Colleagues with the aim of ensuring these services are timely, of high quality and efficiently delivered, delivering an effective and proactive service in a customer centric manner.
*Key Responsibilities *
* Provide first line desk-side, telephone, and remote-based IT support to the internal user base.
* Assist with the support and administration of Microsoft and Apple software and hardware within MHR.
* As part of the team, maintain an overview of ServiceDesk requests and escalate issues accordingly.
* Accurately maintain the IT Support and asset management systems.
* Provide Office 365 Administration including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, databases and Intune
* Support Microsoft Active Directory and EntraID directory solutions
* Work with 3rd party support companies to resolve software, hardware and configuration issues in a timely manner.
*What we’re looking for*
* Experience in IT Support or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows and awareness of Linux operating systems.
* Demonstrable experience with network troubleshooting and configuration.
* Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices Adherence to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials certifications and standards.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills utilising skills to work independently own initiative and as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
