Bid Writer & Coordinator | £50,000 - £55,000 | London | Main Contractor | Permanent Are you a storyteller with an eye for detail, a genuine love of construction and a knack for crafting compelling content? Do you love turning technical details into polished, persuasive narratives that win business? If so, this could be for you. We're looking for a Bid Writer & Bid Coordinator to join this tier 1 contractor in London, someone who can dive into the fast-paced world of EOIs, PQQs, and tenders with confidence. We need a sharp, creative communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and knows how to bring out the best in a team. This isn’t just another bid-writing role; it's a chance to be part of a team that builds stories, not just submissions. What You’ll Be Doing As a bid writer & coordinator, you’ll do much more than check boxes and format text. You’ll be bringing together input from subject matter experts, technical teams, and marketing, ensuring that each submission isn’t just compliant – it’s compelling. You’ll: Own the standard answers and quality sections, making sure that every word shines and every requirement is covered. Shape and refine content, collaborating with our internal experts and partners to develop bespoke responses that set us apart. Assemble beautifully designed presentation documents using Adobe and Office – think engaging layouts, crisp visuals, and sleek formatting. Build and curate our data library, managing a treasure trove of case studies, CVs, and project photos to create a suite of high-quality, ready-to-use content. You’ll also be a part of every stage of the process, from those exciting kick-off meetings to final document reviews. You’ll juggle deliverables, review and refine work, and contribute your ideas on how to improve each submission made. If you have bid experience (ideally within a tier 1 or 2 contractor), an eagle eye for detail, a knowledge of public sector tendering and a knack for managing timelines, you’ll fit right in.
