Well Green Primary School situated in Hale is a well-established and highly respected institution operating under Trafford Local Authority control. The governors are seeking a dynamic and passionate professional to lead our school following the retirement of our current headteacher.
About Us
Built in 1965 the school is extremely well maintained and sits in extensive grounds with excellent sporting and academic facilities.
It is a single form entry level with 230 pupils on roll. We have our own nursery offering part time and full-time places for children from the age of three. We pride ourselves on our inclusive and diverse environment.
We are looking for a proven leader who will continue to uphold our exceptional standards while striving to further improve educational outcomes for all pupils.
The commencement date for the post will be the 1 September 2025 and has been judged by the Local Authority to be in the payment scale of Headteacher ISR Group 2 and sits within the banding of grades L15 and L21.
We have stable staffing, which is testament to the friendly and supportive atmosphere that has been engendered over the current headteachers tenure. The Governing body consists of current and ex-parents and individuals from the local community with many decades service.
The children come from all cultural backgrounds and are accommodated with respect and inclusivity. We are highly regarded within our local community and wish to see the school continue to flourish and continue to provide exceptional outcomes for staff and pupils advanced by the new Headteacher.
