About the Role:
As a Financial Guide at Barclays Bank PLC, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with high-value clients. You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in customer service and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial goals and objectives, gathering information about their income, expenses, debts, savings, and investment goals.
2. Guidance and Recommendations: Provide relevant information and guidance on budgeting, saving, debt management, investments, mortgages, and insurance coverage, explaining complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
3. Product Recommendations: Recommend suitable banking products based on clients' individual needs and financial goals, including banking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, mortgages, and investment products.
4. Relationship Management: Manage client relationships, respond to dissatisfaction, and maintain regular communication to provide ongoing support.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Customer service and relationship management experience.
* Ability to build relationships with colleagues, peers, and senior colleagues.
* Expertise in using IT systems and associated applications.
* Problem-solving skills to find solutions for customers in distress or with complaints.
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of MIFID II regulations and ability to work towards gaining accreditation.
* Experience working in retail banking or relationship management roles.
* Experience working in a virtual environment.
