We are an established yet still rapidly growing company in the construction market. We are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to build out a new team of Business Development Executives, and once in place to lead, support and manage the team. As a key player in our organisation, you and your team, will play a crucial role in supporting growth across construction projects by cultivating and generating leads for our external (field-based) sales representatives. About the Role: Lead Generation: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve ‘quality’ lead targets. Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth. Team Leadership : Lead and motivate a team of Business Development Executives to achieve individual and team targets, providing guidance and support as needed. CRM Management : ensure effective business development processes are in place to capture key data, which are reflected on the CRM by all Team members. Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments such as internal sales, external sales, marketing & product development to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives. About You: Proven experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Business Development, preferably in a fast-paced sales environment, which must include high volume outbound call activity. An inspiring leader with the ability to support and challenge team members to achieve their potential. Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
