This full time (35hrs a week), London based HR Advisor role is a generalist HR role to work within the firm’s HR department. The department consists of ten people, including the HR Advisor role. It is led by the HR Director, with additional leadership from the Head of HR. As the HR Advisor, you will report directly to the HR Business Partner. You will also collaborate closely with the HR Assistant & Partnership Support, HR Systems Analyst, Recruitment/L&D Administrator, Senior Payroll Administrator, L&D Manager, and Recruitment Manager to lead on general HR processes and resolve general HR queries and matters, including ER casework.
Some of your day to day tasks will include:
* Support and lead on generalist HR tasks and provide advice on general HR matters that arise from the business.
* To lead on Employee Relations processes including probation management, absence, conduct, performance and grievances. This role will have responsibility for proactively managing their own case workload.
* To support other members of the HR Team with their employee relations casework, taking notes for meetings and drafting correspondence where necessary.
ABOUT YOU
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of working in HR, perhaps working up through from an HR Administrator to an advisory role within an HR team in a complex organisation, with experience of the full employee lifecycle.
* HR Generalist experience and comfortable dealing with a range of HR queries and issues.
* A thorough working knowledge of employment legislation and current good practice in HR and keep knowledge up to date with Continued Professional Development (CPD).
* CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification, or equivalent through experience.
You will enjoy the complexity and application of employment law and use your great communication and relationship-building skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple priorities to build long lasting and trusted relationships with our people across the whole business.
As a standalone HR Advisor, you will work across all 16 of our practice groups and support 7 business services teams. With such a variety of people to work with, you’ll be able to tell us about your experience of handling a range of employee relations casework and liaising with business stakeholders on their people priorities. You will also love utilising HR technology to produce, analyse and interpret MI, using good analytical and numerical skills and interpret/use data to inform HR initiatives/activities.

Offer of employment
