UGO Bus provides tailored transport for businesses, residents, and public sector organisations with our modern, accessible minibuses. As part of Essex County Council, one of the UK's largest local authorities, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly, dependable, and personable service.
We're looking for people with an outward looking, caring and professional approach. The ideal person will naturally go above and beyond; acknowledging that our passengers value a friendly face and someone who is thoughtful and considerate. All our drivers work on a split shift pattern, so flexibility is key. For example, a split shift can cover from 7.30am to 10am and 2.30pm to 5pm. Please note, the salary for part time and term time roles will be pro rata.
We are currently looking for UGO Bus Driver across the following locations.
West Essex
* Harlow - As and When
* Loughton - 25 hours per week
* Brentwood - As and When
South Essex
* Basildon/Canvey - As and When
* Basildon - 20 hours per week
* Rochford - As and When
* Rochford - 26 hours per week
Mid Essex
* Chelmsford - 25 hours per week
North Essex
* Clacton - 20 hours per week
As a Ugobus driver, you'll be working with a diverse range of passengers; working with students through to older people, and individuals with disabilities or special educational needs.

We are looking for someone who
* Hold a valid driving license with a D1 entitlement - Essential
* Experience in working with customers from a broad and diverse range of backgrounds/needs
* Can demonstrate prior experience of being adaptable and flexible to business pressures
* Ability to work under pressure and remain a calm and professional approach
* Ability to use a smartphone and/or tablet
* Demonstrate good communication and social skills in a customer-based setting
If successful, you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, undertake an ECC minibus driver's assessment and attend mandatory training; including, but not limited to MiDAS and First Aid
