Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Contract: Full time (potential to become permanent)

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? Long-Term Teachers are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team, working with primary-aged students who may face challenges in mainstream education.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide one-to-one mentoring and deliver tailored learning programs that combine classroom-based activities with engaging off-site experiences, helping students build resilience, confidence and essential life skills.
Your key responsibilities:
* Provide personalised support to students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis
* Collaborate with a dedicated team to create an inclusive and nurturing environment
* Assist in the delivery of customised learning programmes, combining thematic classroom learning with practical, experiential activities
What we’re looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people, particularly in SEN settings
* Experience working with individuals with additional needs, whether children or adults
* Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and working within small groups or on a one-to-one basis
* A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential (you will be required to transport students off-site)
* A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
* Ideal for individuals with experience in SEN, healthcare, support work or sports coaching
