Job Title: Trainer
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5pm
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £25-26k (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development & Delivery
1. Lead all training activities, ensuring compliance with franchise standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct training needs analyses, develop personal development plans, and implement a comprehensive office training strategy.
3. Oversee the online e-learning platform for tracking training and responsibilities.
4. Deliver induction training for new Care Professionals and assess on-the-job competencies.
5. Collaborate with the team to support new hires, evaluate training effectiveness, and address skills gaps.
6. Stay current with sector developments and ensure high-quality care delivery in clients’ homes.
Recruitment & Engagement
7. Support recruitment through engaging training programs and innovative community campaigns.
8. Ensure the accuracy of recruitment information in the candidate management system.
Retention & Support
9. Develop tailored support plans for Care Professionals throughout their journey.
10. Monitor staff well-being, lead field observations, and ensure supervisions are up to date.
11. Assist with team meetings, social events, and the completion of annual employee surveys, and action plans.
Compliance & Best Practices
12. Ensure compliance with the Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy.
13. Manage training records, stay informed on industry trends, and identify training funding opportunities.
Qualifications
Due to the increasing demand for our care services, we are looking for a dedicated Care Trainer to support and guide our new Care Professionals. In this role, you will lead and facilitate all training activities, ensuring compliance with franchise standards and regulatory requirements. You will develop and deliver engaging training programs, support recruitment activities, and promote continuous professional development for our Care Professionals.
Essential Criteria:
14. Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in management
15. Proven experience in preparing and delivering training and development programs
16. Good understanding of UK recruitment practices
17. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
18. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
19. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and virtual communication platforms
20. Line management experience and excellent presentation skills
21. Up-to-date qualifications in line with training delivery requirements
