As the Inside Sales Account Manager, you will report to the Country Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland. Your primary focus will be identifying, attracting, and securing new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers across the UK & Ireland.
The Inside Sales Account Manager will have a portfolio of their own to develop and grow, whilst supporting on the overall goals and objectives of the UKI business unit, to maximise their earnings potential by exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities will include:
Prospecting, Revenue Generation & Quotation Management:
* Working with Biocair sales lead data sources, tools and marketing to generate leads.
* Generating business from future prospects using all means of communication.
* Identifying and closing opportunities to develop new revenue from new and existing customers.
* Increasing revenue by effectively selling to customers in the UKI market using the tools and training to operate productively in terms of customer contacts and sales conversion.
* Providing customers with fast and competitive winning quotations.
* Ensuring all quotes are followed up and using the appropriate Biocair tools to prepare and send them.
Client Relationship Management & Customer Support:
* Fully and completely utilising Biocair account management tools, data feeds and keeping records up to date in a timely manner.
* Creating and maintaining up to date a pipeline of opportunities in the Client Relationship Management system (CRM), currently Salesforce.
* Assisting customers with questions and business information using our sales collateral proactively and recording outcomes in our Sales tools.
* Providing input and escalating where required to address customer issues, providing corrective and preventative actions with the assistance of the appropriate team members.
* Ensuring customers are set up correctly in terms of provision of any POs, on time payment and good quality data reporting.
Internal Collaboration:
* Collaborating with operations to ensure they are aware of sales onboarding to ensure they are fully aware of business coming.
* Support customers to maximise the customer portal fully to place their orders and helping them to see the value of using the Biocair tools.
* Proactively operating within the sales policies and marketing strategy of the organisation.
* Recording all client contact communications in the CRM.
* Preparing special reports and presentations as needed.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
* Strong sales skills and proven experience of identifying, attracting and securing new business as well continuing to strengthen existing relationships.
* Previous experience of a similar role within the specialist logistics, and ideally cold chain, industry is essential.
* Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, with a proficiency in recording and managing client communications in a CRM.
* Experience of quotation preparation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along side the ability to adapt your communication style based on the audience.
* Experience in creating compelling presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders is highly desirable but not essential.

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am to 17:30pm and the role is offered as hybrid from our Cambridge office (CB22 3EG) with up to 2 days per week working from home.
