Trafford Waters are searching for Senior Care Assistants to join our team and continue to promote our high standards and family feel. As a Senior Care Assistant, you are important and integral to the team and you are needed by the residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Helping support residents with their morning routines to get ready for the day.
2. Working with families to understand each resident's needs, desires, and purpose in their daily lives.
3. Checking on residents in a timely manner to ensure they are comfortable, their dignity is respected, and they feel safe and secure at all times.
4. Being the individual who supports the residents, keeping them company and maintaining their purpose in life.
5. Helping support and lead the care assistants in the home, assisting with questions, advice, and ensuring the day runs smoothly.
6. Dispensing medication to each resident throughout the day and recording information in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Assisting care assistants with ensuring the home is kept clean and records are diligently updated.
8. Working closely with external bodies to ensure the appropriate level of care is provided to each resident.
9. Updating and reviewing care plans in accordance with regulations and policies.

Schedule:
* 12 hour shift
* Night shift
Experience:
* Care home: 1 year (preferred)
* Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
