About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially specializing in one or more areas such as product design, engineering, or food technology based on your expertise. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage students to explore design briefs, experiment with materials, and utilize modern manufacturing techniques. Assess student progress through project work, design portfolios, and practical assessments, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the design and technology curriculum and participate in extracurricular design clubs and competitions. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related field. A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and current technologies relevant to your specialism. Proficiency in relevant software and experience with workshop equipment.
