Policyholder Tax Advisor 12-month contract Salary: circa £32,000 Location: York or Bristol Are you a motivated, self-starter? We are recruiting for a policy Tax Advisor to join our team on a twelve-month contract. This role is part of the Aviva Finance Operations team: a highly effective and agile team managing resources and providing excellent service to the rest of Aviva's Finance function. A bit about the job: This role will be working directly with the Policyholder Tax Senior Manager to support delivery of strategic change within the business. You will be responsible for articulating, reviewing and approving tax requirements on behalf of the Policyholder Tax team as well as approving and undertaking testing of tax reports. You will also support the wider team with the review and submission of tax reporting and payment to HMRC in relation to pensions. Experience of dealing with tax rules and regulations is beneficial in this role, but not essential. You will have good interpersonal and organisational skills, a positive attitude to change and new challenges and a good working knowledge of Microsoft office products. Skills and experience we're looking for: Enthusiasm to learn about tax and navigate new systems and processes. Be comfortable using spreadsheets to calculate/manipulate data. Ability to write clear and simple emails.
