Clifton Road Surgery is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist, on a permanent basis to do between 20-24 hours per week.You will be based at Clifton Road Surgery, situated within the centre of Rugby. We are a large and forward looking training practice responsible for approximately 15,000 patients.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to take on the role of a senior pharmacistand independent prescriber who will work as part of the practice clinical team onchronic disease management whilst also leading the CRS medicines team todeliver effective and safe medicines management for all patients. The role will be varied, with F2F patientconsultations and desk-based activities with the need for flexibility dependingon practice demand. They will be supported by a clinical lead GP.
We invite applications from suitably qualified Practitioners with skills to support patients with chronic diseases and also lead our medicines team. The ability to work independently and to demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process is required and to also work well as part of a team. The Practice uses Emis Web and training will be available for the successful candidate if required.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Completion of an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy, and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
2. Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in pharmacy, as demonstrated within a practice portfolio
3. Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS)
4. Prescribing qualification
Desirable
5. Post-graduate clinical qualification
