We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Retail team in East Anglia. Owing to the nature of the projects, the role will suit someone with experience of working on Retail Shop fitting and Commercial Office Fit Out projects.
Duties Will Include:
1. Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks, to include:
2. Conducting background research, data collection, and benchmarking.
3. Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
4. Producing project plans.
5. Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators.
6. Tracking and documenting changes.
7. Preparing written project communication materials.
8. Preparing formal project progress and other reports.
9. Liaising with the client and contractors.
10. Attending meetings and drafting minutes.
11. Reporting.
Skills and Experiences:
1. Degree or Equivalent in Construction/Project Management.
2. Experience of working on major Retail and Commercial Office Fit Out projects.
3. Significant experience working as an Assistant Project Manager.
4. Have worked on large scale food retail jobs (Tescos, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Asda, Aldi).
5. Good political awareness.
6. Ability to multitask.
7. Proactive, diligent, and able to think one step ahead.
8. Quality driven.
