Senior Letting Negotiator – Loughton, IG10
A great opportunity has arisen for a Letting Negotiator to join our Independent client based in Loughton, IG10. Property Lettings experience is a bonus; however, charisma, determination, energy, and an outgoing personality are a must for this vibrant and forward-thinking company.
As Lettings Negotiator, you will be confident in dealing with properties and clients across the range into the very top end and be involved in the whole Property Letting process from generating/carrying out viewings to negotiating and pushing deals through to their successful completion. You will need to have the ability to build long-term business relationships with clients and applicants, be focused and determined in working to targets, and be a strong team player.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Coordinating canvassing activities to generate new business, including the utilization of social media.
2. Coordinating Lettings Market appraisals and the listing process.
3. Effectively marketing properties to attract potential applicants.
4. Matching prospective tenants to suitable properties and arranging viewings accordingly.
5. Maintaining regular contact with tenants, landlords, and other relevant parties.
6. Dealing with referencing and TDS.
7. Guiding applicants and landlords through the letting process from agreement of the letting to legal completion.
8. Contributing to the smooth running of the branch on a daily basis.
The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:
1. Candidates should be target-driven and have a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment.
2. Excellent communication skills and able to articulate ideas in a concise way.
3. Enjoy working in a team environment.
4. A desire to want to progress and challenge yourself continually.
5. Experience would be an advantage but not essential.
6. Have a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment.
7. Obtain a full valid UK driving licence.
This Lettings Negotiator position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with long-term career prospects. Local experience is not essential; however, an understanding of the company structure and local area is preferred.
The hours will be: Monday to Friday 8.45 am – 6 pm; Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm with a day off in the week.
Salary range will be: £20-22K pa basic and OTE of around £35,000 to £40,000 pa + car allowance.
