Assisting in the delivery of an effective Finance service across Signal and outwardly for our clients and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining Finance mailbox and ensuring all incoming emails actioned in a timely manor Sending sales invoices in a timely manner, including uploading to various client portals Assisting with credit control and aiding with weekly cashflow forecast Monthly prepayments & accruals schedules Including credit card accruals Performing monthly intercompany reconciliations Monthly foreign currency reconciliations including updating the exchange rates Assist with the quarterly VAT return submission Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register Pulling together monthly prepayments & accruals Reconciling the balance sheet on a regular basis and assisting with any corrections Maintaining Financial databases Assist with financial audits Dealing with any other ad hoc finance queries, and resolving them accordingly Assisting with preparing monthly freelance Information Key Skills To be a role model for our culture and values Previous administration experience within a busy department, dealing with a high volume and a variety of tasks. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, credit control and double entry book-keeping AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT Exceptional organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail A natural problem solver with a proactive and can-do attitude Able to prioritise a number of tasks and manage own workload in a calm, professional demeanour, under pressure and meet agreed deadlines.
