We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated Finance Accountant to join our London finance team.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions, playing a crucial role in the company’s financial operations.
About The Role
* Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
* Post and process invoices in accordance with company policies and financial controls.
* Manage company credit card transactions, including reconciliations and expense tracking.
* Month-end closing process - Take part in the company’s monthly reporting to HQ.
* Support the company’s payment process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
* Assist with statutory audits, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
* Contribute to local reporting requirements and financial statement preparation.
* Collaborate with the finance team to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
Your Experience & Skills
* 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.
* Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and payment procedures.
* Familiarity with credit card transaction management and reconciliations.
* Experience working with ERP systems - NetSuite is an advantage.
* Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data.
* Understanding local statutory requirements and reporting in the UK.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with a wider finance team.
* Strong sense of ownership.
* Experience supporting operations in Poland, Germany, and France is an advantage.
Preferred Credentials & Certifications
* AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification or equivalent.
* Newly qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
