An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a lady who suffers from mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and short-term memory loss, within her own home and the local community. As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include supporting with all aspects of daily life, including:
1. Supporting the client to manage and maintain nutrition.
2. Supporting the client with personal hygiene, including prompts to shower.
3. Helping the client maintain a habitable home environment.
4. Assisting the client to order, collect, and take medication on time.
5. Helping the client keep on top of household chores.
We are looking for a caring, proactive, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others. Previous experience is desirable but not essential; however, a positive attitude and good work ethic are essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time position for 9.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.50, plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
