8.75 hours per week We are seeking to appoint a Senior Midday-Supervisor as soon as possible to lead our team of happy, caring and hardworking Midday Supervisory Assistants (MSA) during the lunch period. We require someone who will: • Ensure that the health, safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils is maintained • Be committed to our positive, inclusive and creative ethos • Have excellent behaviour management skills • Have experience in a similar role • Manage our MSA team, recognising and encouraging strengths and good practice • Be organised but flexible and open to change • Have lots of energy and positivity • Support and include all pupils • Have a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills The Senior MSA will: • Lead and line manage the MSA Team. • Organise staff to ensure that all areas, both inside and out have appropriate adult supervision to maintain the smooth running of the lunchtime/play period. • Arrange and facilitate appropriate play and physical activities during the lunch period. • Ensure that the lunchtime period is a happy and safe experience for all our children • Share the school ethos of promoting a positive approach to behaviour management. • Liaise with the Senior Leadership Team and/or Class Teacher(s) as necessary. • Ensure adequate and appropriate first aid provision is available during lunch period • Ensure the smooth delivery of lunches each day. • Identify, encourage and promote good practice amongst the team The hours of work will be 11:45 -13:30 Monday to Friday (term time only). The salary for this position is paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. The total salary for the school year is divided by 12 to ensure consistent income throughout the year ie including school holidays.
