Business Services Accounts Manager – Weybridge
Ward Williams is a firm of Chartered Accountants with offices based in Weybridge, Uxbridge and Sunninghill providing wide ranging business solutions for small and medium sized businesses. The firm has been established for over 30 years with a diverse client base of owner managed entities through to medium sized groups. An opportunity has now arisen for an accounts manager to join the Business Services team.
The role:
Accounts Manager based in Weybridge.
You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients and duties will include:
1. Review of statutory year-end accounts.
2. Full management responsibility for all aspects of managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
3. Preparation of limited company accounts adopting FRS105, FRS102(1A) and preparation of management accounts.
4. Review of VAT returns and bookkeeping prepared by junior members of the team.
5. Preparation and review of corporate tax returns and tax computations.
6. Liaising with and providing general technical advice to clients for example tax efficient remuneration planning (technical + management support will be provided as required).
7. Being able to work as part of a team and managing/training junior members of staff.
8. Liaising with senior management to oversee the deadline management for the department.
9. Providing assistance and training on accounting software to clients and junior staff.
10. Billing, WIP management and other ad hoc responsibilities as and when required.
