As an Automation System Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Your expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.
You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our designated location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
* Provide technical support and expertise for Industrial Automation solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
* Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
YOU MUST HAVE
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* Proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
* Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Automation industry and technologies
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience in project management and execution
* Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
* Availability to travel or move across our client base at varying sites in a designated zone.
