Treasury Administrator
Position Overview
We are seeking a Treasury Administrator to support our Treasury service. You will be required to support the Senior Treasurer by processing payments, updating cashbook records, producing summary financial reports, inputting data and general office/clerical duties. You will be responsible for following processes closely to deliver work to a high standard.
The role involves dealing with confidential information, therefore a high level of discretion and professionalism is essential. You must also be able to work under pressure when high processing volumes will be required. No prior specific treasury experience is needed as training will be provided. We would encourage and support someone seeking relevant qualifications.
The ideal candidate will already have gained experience of working in an office environment, have excellent computer skills and be able to process work to a very high standard.
This role can be based in either our Croydon or Manchester city centre offices with a hybrid workstyle.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Creating and processing payments
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Logging and processing receipts
4. Monitoring email accounts and creating work events
5. General client banking
6. Data entry
7. Producing reports
8. Answering queries
9. Supporting the Senior Treasurer, Cash Flow Forecasting Team and Pension Fund Accounting Teams
10. General office duties
Key Skills & Experience
1. Previous experience within a financial environment, ie. cash management, treasury or purchase ledger is essential.
2. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, as you will be communicating financial information within and outside the business.
3. We are looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude, with good problem-solving skills.
4. Organisation skills are essential, you will be managing transactions for multiple schemes - you need to be well-organised and able to prioritise tasks appropriately.
5. The ideal candidate will already have gained experience of working in an office environment, have excellent computer skills and be able to process work to a very high standard.
