Responsibilities:
* Performs analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation and ongoing administration of network devices, security, wireless, computers, printers, telephony, storage and electronic communication systems.
* Help define, implement, and measure network performance of IT service delivery, and implement change management to ensure responsive and quality internal and external customer support.
* Develop and implement end-user training programs for network related functions, VPN software and services. This includes the development and continuous maintenance of content for internal support sites on Perforce’s intranet.
* Identify, manage and push for timely resolution of issues that require escalation to software and hardware vendors. Reviews and ensures compliance with vendor contracts for related services.
* Effectively communicate changes in infrastructure, service outages and organizational updates to employees and management.
* Ability to perform other IT responsibilities as directed by management.
Requirements:
* BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in a network administrative role, involving setting priorities and leading infrastructure projects to successful on-time and on-budget completion.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Prior experience managing global enterprise networks, DNS, DHCP, email, storage, and backup issues.
* Strong network security background: design, implement and maintain firewall and DMZ infrastructure including security architecture.
* Network routing design and implementation experience, including BGP and MPLS.
* Experience maintaining Cisco LAN and WLAN hardware (NX-OS and FCoE a plus).
* Experience with design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise telephony and electronic communication systems (VoIP, instant messaging and video conferencing).
* Strong familiarity with remote network management of globally dispersed offices, including experience with network monitoring and management software.
* Ability to implement and follow global IT service management and helpdesk best practices (ITIL, etc.).
* Excellent organizational, decision-making and communications skills. Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel and management.
* Strong familiarity with Mac OS X, Windows and UNIX operating systems (Linux, FreeBSD) including open-source and commercial open-source technologies.
* Strong experience in executing multiple concurrent technical projects, including project planning, scheduling and management.
* Knowledge of Perforce SCM a plus.
* Availability to work for up to 40 hours a week in our colocation facility or other remote locations to perform job related tasks.
* Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds.
