We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to manage customer accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive new sales initiatives. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee and expand sales across independent customers, distributors, and major retailers. Manage goods out processes to ensure continuity and excellent customer service, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with fulfilment providers, couriers, and handling returns. Motivate and drive new business through sales operatives and order processing staff. Upsell to current customers and ensure new product developments are added and maintained across systems such as Unleashed, brochures, and the website. Produce and present monthly sales reports for the department to the commercial director. Collaborate with accounts to ensure timely payments from customers. Arrange internal stock transfers with hauliers and goods out teams. Handle occasional customer complaints, always prioritising the company’s profitability and reputation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven customer satisfaction, account management, and customer service skills. Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Experience in sales or account management, preferably within the food industry. Knowledge of sales systems and software, with a preference for experience in Unleashed or similar platforms.
