As AWS expands its Global Data Center footprint our infrastructure standards continue to rise. We seek a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to drive remediation of issues found during our audit program. Youll work with multi-functional regional teams in EMEA, driving the teams to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks from Amazons Colocation Data Center providers. The role requires expertise in Data Center Infrastructure and operations, Program Management and analyzing complex data from multiple sources to form and present coherent strategies for our Global portfolio. Youll need excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience reporting out progress at an SVP level. Tolerance of ambiguity is a must as is the ability to deliver results under tight timelines.
In this role you will work comfortably with stakeholders from multiple teams, align priorities and ensure all stakeholders work towards and deliver key milestones necessary for delivering data center infrastructure remediation for our customers at the right time and cost.
Our Technical Program Managers have high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership skills. They clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.
Key job responsibilities

3. Up to 25% travel is envisaged within EMEA.
4. Be responsible for end-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design up to final handover to Operations of Colo, Hybrid Colo & AWS Leased/Owned Data Centers in the EMEA region.
5. Manage interface between internal (Real Estate, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Infrastructure Deployment, Networking, Operations, Security, Fiber, Finance etc.) and external stakeholders (Contractors, Colo Vendors) to ensure on time and on budget delivery of Data Center projects.
6. Build and maintain overall delivery program and project budget, submitting Capital Allocation Requests to Senior leadership to secure finance for project delivery.
7. Work with Capacity Planning, Energy and Real Estate teams to develop short & long term build strategies to meet forecast demand.
8. Support continuous process improvement through leading workflow updates, documenting & implementing lessons learned and sharing knowledge across delivery teams to ensure EMEA wide efficiency improvements.
9. Regularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics vs. commitment of your projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree; in an engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
· 5+ years of experience in project management.
· Detailed understanding of Data Center technologies such as Power, Cooling and Controls systems.
· Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management. Must be well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure.
· Demonstrable experience in programme delivery of large cross functional programs, ideally within an infrastructure environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Data Center, construction management or networking engineering background.
· Experience of data center design, construction and fit out projects a plus.
· Experience in management of complex infrastructure projects.
· Experience of delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
· Proficiency with project management planning and reporting tools.
