Events Manager
Salary: £30k basic / £40k OTE
Location: Chelmsford, Essex (OFFICE BASED ROLE)
Type: Permanent/Full Time
Working Hours: 5 day week Monday to Saturday (rota'd Saturdays and days off depending on events schedule). Hours are typically 9-5.30 although extended hours are expected at events.

They are looking for a dynamic individual with strong experience from the events space to join their team to help lead their client events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Planning and arranging business events including training and coaching events.
2. Coordinating the logistics of events, including the agenda, catering, supplies, and staffing of the event.
3. Work with key stakeholders and managers to gather expectations to ensure you deliver on what is required.
4. Ensure events run to a standard of excellence, delivering a high-quality service to clients, with a perfectly smooth running for all staff and contractors, and always seeking ongoing continuous improvements, working with all stakeholders for feedback and input, such as in regular de-brief meetings or surveys.
5. Responsibility to resolve any issues at events and in follow-ups - handle client/suppliers/contractor queries expertly and swiftly.
6. Representing the company professionally at all times - be a promoter of a positive company culture and its values.
Your Background & Skill:
1. Experience in organising events (Coaching, Weddings and Hospitality as examples).
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. Efficient, organised, self-motivated, and fast-paced.
4. Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
5. Time-Management skills - ability to coordinate timetables, ensuring effective scheduling.
6. Team motivator with strong communication skills.
