About the role
We are looking for an outstanding Head of PE to join our team. You will be passionate about your subject with the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities and up to A level. A responsibility allowance is incorporated here for the successful candidate to lead the school’s extra-curricular activities programme. This is of supreme importance as we look to develop further our vibrant, active and enriching programme of activities for our students on their return to campus.
About you
You will be an outstanding, inspirational and resilient practitioner, willing to adapt quickly to a new and vibrant culture and one who builds strong and positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues. You will possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and at least two years of teaching experience. As Head of PE, a key part of the role is the school’s participation in and co-ordinating of the MISAC league fixtures, tournaments and matches. For this, you will need to have excellent organisational and people skills and be truly passionate about providing meaningful opportunities for students to develop their approach to sport and gamesmanship.
