The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join the Abbott Diabetes Care team. Our focus is on helping people with diabetes manage their health through life-changing products that provide accurate data for better-informed decisions. We are revolutionising the way people monitor their glucose levels with our innovative sensing technology. In this role, you will provide contract management support related to Integrated Care Board / Health Board activities. You will manage POC contractual paperwork, working closely with the POC team and the POC National Sales Manager on all contract matters, including tender processes, contract preparation, implementation, performance, and maintenance. Additionally, you will manage all tender submissions, ensuring responses are submitted on time and to a high professional standard. What You'll Do - Provide contract management support to the Market Access team. - Manage POC contractual paperwork and all related contract matters. - Oversee tender submissions, working with stakeholders across Abbott Diabetes Care UK. - Prepare and maintain contractual paperwork for new and existing 3rd party commercial contracts. - Ensure suppliers are working to Statements of Work (SOWs) and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Prepare and distribute contract/tender reports on a monthly/quarterly basis. - Handle incoming tenders, including searching, acknowledging receipt, and communicating documents and deadlines. - Complete and submit pre-tender qualification questionnaires. - Review tender documents and identify key points and potential concerns. - Monitor responses from the sales force and ensure commitments and deadlines are met. - Collate and format response documents and ensure timely submission. - Provide contractual details to individual accounts as requested. - Prepare and submit quotations and provide pre-purchase information on products. - Maintain contracts admin database and implement policy guidelines and sign-off procedures. - Confirm contract pricing to the Sales Service Department and monitor contractual demand versus obligation. - Validate data entered into P&Ls before sending for approval. Required Qualifications - Degree level or equivalent qualification. - Experience in contracts and tendering. - Experience with public procurement tenders preferred but not essential. - Advanced use of email systems, ideally Microsoft Outlook. - Advanced use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Experience with SAP systems is useful. - Ability to plan, organise, and manage complex projects efficiently and effectively. - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work. - Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities. - Highly professional with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels. - Ability to work independently and manage own workload and timelines. - Positive attitude.
