Let us introduce the role We are recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join our FMC Programme. The FMC programme is highly complex but also a once-in-a-generation opportunity to participate in the creation of a world-class scientific, engineering, and technological centre of excellence. You will contribute towards successful completion of projects, under the control of a project manager or senior project manager, compliant with AWE processes. AWE’s FMC is part of a multi-billion-pound, multi-year portfolio of infrastructure investment that supports AWE in its overall purpose to protect the UK through nuclear science and technology. The scale and complexity of the work required is a critical National Endeavour and includes substantial investment in infrastructure development across the Defence Nuclear Enterprise. Ideally, the right candidate should show experience in the Science or Engineering parts of the business. You should show strengths in stakeholder engagement in those areas and have the ability to prioritise workload.
