Hours of Work: Full Time 37 hours per week, term time plus working 4 weeks within the school holiday period
Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated administrator to organise and manage all aspects of examinations and to support with internal assessments and admissions. As an all-through school (ages 4-18), this role will cover responsibility for a wide range of examinations and assessments for all year groups from Key Stage 1 up to and including GCSE and A Level examination.
Key Responsibilities

3. Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in exam processes.
4. Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve goals during peak workload periods.
Qualifications and Skills
Attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, and a pupil-focused approach are essential attributes to succeed in this role. You would be joining a successful team: in 2024 at GCSE, 94% of pupils achieved a grade 4+ in Maths and 96% of pupils achieved a 4+ in English which makes Kings Priory School one of the highest performing schools in North East of England.
This role would be perfect for you if you have a background in timetabling, exams, data management or high-level administration. Experience within education (including Higher and Further Education) is advantageous, but not essential.
Additional Information
We will provide training and support on our systems and processes, but you will need a keen eye for detail and accuracy and excellent planning and organising skills. There will be peaks of workload at exam times, so the ability to adapt to this and work with others to achieve goals is essential. We offer great flexibility, and this role is on a term time basis plus 4 weeks, which would involve working for 4 weeks during the period of time the school is closed to pupils, usually including the last 2 weeks in August. We aim to provide flexibility where possible.
