Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join our dynamic, innovative and friendly pharmacy education and training team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and patient-oriented pharmacy technician with experience and a passion for this area of work within hospital pharmacy.
You will work with the E&T pharmacy teams to help implement, deliver and continually improve the training for pre-registration pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants.
Alongside the rest of the E&T team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of E&T across 4 hospitals on 3 sites.
You must have a keen interest in people development and relationship building.
Main duties of the job
Excellent communication skills and enjoying working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team are essential. You will also need to be friendly, approachable, adaptable, flexible, willing to learn new skills, and committed to continuous professional development.
All applicants must be a registered technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council and hold the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification.
This is a full-time post and the post holder will be required to participate in the weekend and late duty rota pro rata.
