We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain, who will be responsible for optimising the supply chain to deliver a market leading customer experience, ensuring the right fit for the right site, meeting business needs and creating head room for growth. Reporting into the Cluster Director and working closely with General Managers, Heads of Sales and Head of Operations, you will develop and deploy a 5-year supply chain plan to support the delivery of growth, capability and optimise capacity to maximise the service centre model. As a senior member of the Cluster Management team, a core part of the role will be to promote cross-functional collaboration across the Cluster. You will influence critical decisions across functions and reporting lines to achieve optimal Cluster performance. The role will collaborate with and be supported by the Country Supply Chain manager. Your remit will include but not limited to: Lead Sales and Operations Planning processes in the Cluster - lead the S&OP meetings and define cluster level strategic decisions under direction of Cluster Director Drive maximised customer service levels while optimising machine utilisation to support site productivity across the cluster Define inventory strategy and required stock levels as part of S&OP process Demand and Supply planning - engage relevant stakeholders to ensure an effective sales forecasting and demand planning process is executed at the required frequency and granularity Achieve reliable customer service levels through efficient and effective use of available machine capacity and distribution network Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement - drive overall contribution to the cluster P&L through optimising allocation of demand, costs and productivity Promote a healthy working environment across the cluster, as well as a high and improving employee engagement and enablement score. Work closely with the General Managers across the Cluster to optimise supply routings. Work with the central logistics team and the sites to drive down logistics costs. About You: An experienced Supply Chain Manager / General Manager with multi-site experience. Previous experience in Supply Chain management, production planning, inventory management, Logistics and Continuous Improvement in (a corrugated box manufacturing business or similar production environment) Demonstrable strategic business planning skills, with a track record of effective change management and leadership to challenge legacy behaviours Uk industry knowledge of the corrugated box market. Strong commercial acumen and financially savvy. Proven influencing and stakeholder management skills with evidence of leading and embedding culture led change. Experience working with different ERP and other Supply Chain tools. Ability to manage a range of external stakeholders and authorities, community and industrial relations.
