Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Key Worker who will lead by example in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. You will take responsibility for the development and implementation of individual care plans, acting as a key contact for allocated residents, and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a primary point of contact for residents, fostering positive relationships and providing consistent support.
* Develop, review, and monitor care plans, ensuring they align with residents' needs and goals.
* Support team members with guidance and training, promoting best practices.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and regulatory standards.
* Facilitate activities that promote personal development and independence.
* Manage challenging situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a safe environment.
* Liaise with families, external agencies, and professionals to ensure holistic care.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in a residential care setting.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Compassion, resilience, and dedication to making a difference.

£14 - 16.50 per hour DOE
