Creative Lead - 12 month FTC Our client is an established international health and well-being brand, with headquarters in the Birmingham area. They are looking for a Creative Lead in their creative team to cover a 12-month maternity contract, starting Jan/Feb 2025. As a Creative Lead, you will direct and steer the visual direction of their brand, from initial concept across print and digital channels to presenting directly to stakeholders across marketing, product and digital teams whilst overseeing and mentoring other creatives within the team. They like to push boundaries and you will have involvement from brand to new product development through to advertising, POS and packaging, OOH, guerrilla marketing and new product launches and as such, is a very varied role. Hybrid working pattern with 2 days onsite in their Birmingham office. Our Client This health and well-being brand was established 15 years ago and they have been on an impressive journey of growth. Now owned by a larger group, they have now got a global reach and are number 1 in their category within the UK with their sights set on being number 1 in Europe. They are based in the Birmingham area, with a collaborative workspace to make use of at least 2 days per week (to your choice). Driven by its strong branding, distinctive products, and highly innovative approach, they have made an explosive impact in the FMCG Industry. As a market leader, they sell a range of products, both B2B and B2C. With their brand expanding globally, there are a lot of exciting things planned ahead for them in 2025. The Role They are looking for an experienced Creative Lead who can work with their Head of Brand Creative and manage 2 direct reports and to help mentor the wider creative team. This is a wide-ranging role where you will be involved with designing concepts for 360-degree marketing campaigns, guiding their Creative team in executing those campaigns across digital, social and experiential as well as a range of print media, including POS, packaging, marketing and trade advertising, transport wraps and additional marketing and brand collateral. They are a disruptive player in their market and are keen to have someone who can push boundaries in their creative thinking. You will also be involved in ideas for new product development and give inspiration to marketing on what ideas you have for events and guerilla marketing. Some of the responsibilities include: Creating and presenting original creative concepts and campaigns to both internal teams and external stakeholders, showcasing your vision and strategy ensuring cohesive brand communication. Working on global projects, ensuring alignment with their brand strategy, marketing objectives, and market-specific requirements. Collaborating with the marketing and digital teams to bring a strong creative perspective to broader projects. Managing your own schedule and workflow, while also ensuring that the creative team is equipped with all necessary resources and guidance to deliver on campaign objectives. Lead, motivate, and support a team of two direct reports, while also serving as the primary creative voice and support to the wider team. Work with global agencies and suppliers, ensuring optimal project outcomes and brand consistency across every execution. About You You enjoy concepting ideas that are media-neutral, and crafting and designing them across multiple channels. You enjoy having the freedom to push creative boundaries and enjoy getting stuck into a wide range of creative work. You are a natural communicator and enjoy collaborating with a team and are confident in presenting your ideas. You are agile in your approach to design and love trying new things and keep innovating. Skills and experience needed: You have a proven background in a professional design environment, ideally having worked within FMCG Strong sense of design principles including layout, colour, typography, and effective visual messaging Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and ideally some experience in Premiere Pro, and After Effects Experience in mock-up or 3D software, such as Adobe Dimension, ESKO Studio Designer, or similar tools Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Developing point-of-sale materials and display concepts Mastery of layout, typography, and artwork setup for packaging Skills in scripting, storyboarding, and video editing To apply for the role of Creative Lead, please send your CV and portfolio across.
