Accounts Receivable Team Member – German Speaking £25,000 - £27,000 Glasgow Full-Time, Hybrid Working Reporting to Head of Accounting Reed Accountancy is thrilled to announce they are assisting a globally renowned brand, to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Member with German language skills. This role will sit within the sales ledger department and will be responsible for ensuring that the department can deliver effective sub ledger controls to one of the company’s major European entities. Working on an overseas ledger, this role will require the successful candidate to be fluent in German and English. This role will also require excellent time management and organisational skills, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The main responsibilities of this role will be: Processing account receivable transactions which are not generated by General Sales Aggregator tool Matching accounts receivable invoices to receipts from customers, ensuring clean AR sub ledger accounts Ensuring the general ledger reconciles to the AR sub ledger balance on a monthly basis Providing monthly reconciliations of AR balances to distributor monthly statements and delivering signed off reconciliations in system Ensuring posting of costs impacting AR account balances via AP contra accounts or manual journal entries Working closely with the sales data analysts to ensure accurate processing of AR account transactions Assisting in preparing AR information for year-end statutory audits This role will suit someone with Accounts Receivable experience, and a fluency in German and English.
