Responsibilities
* Lead health & safety initiatives, ensuring all activities comply with standards and legal requirements.
* Manage and develop a high-performing engineering team.
* Create maintenance schedules and delegate tasks.
* Conduct site inspections and perform minor repairs.
* Coordinate contractors for major repairs.
* Communicate maintenance concerns across teams.
* Respond to emergency maintenance needs.
* Develop and negotiate maintenance contracts and manage inventory.
* Oversee work by vendors/contractors and manage CMMS systems.
Qualifications
* HNC (or higher) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* At least 3 years’ supervisory/managerial experience in engineering/maintenance.
* Experience managing contracts and ensuring value for money.
* Experience in food or FMCG manufacturing is desirable.
* Technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
