JOB DESCRIPTION
Accountable for accurate and consistent management of completions data and delivery of system/sub-system handovers in line with project requirements and schedule. Process completion of systems to handover, in line with the project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over fully certified in a timely and orderly manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identification of sub-system limits and the updating of limits in line with latest revision P&ID's/SLD's
2. Completion of data downloads and verification of data on completion of imports
3. Population of the completions management database in line with applicable project procedures and latest design data
4. Production and issue of field-test reports (FTR's) and liaison with construction and precommissioning personnel to ensure correct completion of these
5. Day to day operation and control of the mechanical completion database and system completion records
6. Control of change to the completions management database in line with project change control procedures
7. Compilation and verification of mechanical completion handover packages in line with agreed system handover schedule
8. Ensuring mechanical completion data, documentation, drawings and handovers are in line with agreed project procedures
9. Adherence to all applicable site/project safety procedures
10. Active participation in all company and project safety initiatives
11. Status reporting of completions progress as required by the project
12. Ensures operations & maintenance requirements are identified and requirements are tracked for start-up
13. Complies with completions and/or certification procedures
14. Expedites and assures the full mechanical completion of a system by construction prior to arranging handover activities to commissioning
15. Records and monitors the close out of defects or deficiencies within project scope
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Should possess Level 4 ISCED qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
1. Previous experience within a certification environment
2. Previous experience within a commissioning engineering environment
3. Experience working in a relevant operational environment
4. Ability to read relevant drawings e.g. P&ID's, SLD's, GA's, with good understanding of mnemonics and LOSH
5. Must show an aptitude for the certification documentation process
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong IT skills are necessary to support the data manipulation and data import process. Skills include Excel formulae, pivot tables, filtering and sorting
8. Ability to demonstrate high level of understanding of HSE processes and procedures and their implementation
9. Ability to work and deliver project milestones in a consistent and structured manner
10. Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to other team members
11. Ability to follow/compliance with procedures and recognised working practices
12. Ability to carry out systemisation of projects
13. Conversant with completions management software
