Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to recruit for a Trainee/Graduate Project Engineer, based in Aberdeen.
The company is undergoing significant growth, offering excellent opportunities for development, training, and progression. As a key member of an established team, you will take responsibility for managing the full life cycle of large-scale projects, covering both onshore and offshore scopes.
Key responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed project quotations, including engineering, manufacturing and testing costs.
2. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and contract milestones, reporting on progress, costs and resources.
3. Coordinate technical documentation for bids and projects, including drawings, procedures and risk assessments.
4. Chair project kick-off meetings and participate in design and operational reviews.
5. Oversee timely delivery of drawings and documents to meet project schedules.
6. Raise purchase requisitions, manufacturing requests and testing procedures.
7. Prepare work packs for field surveys and offshore operations.
8. Coordinate client and third-party test inspections and manage risk activities.
9. Follow management of change processes and ensure offshore personnel mobilisation.
10. Compile manufacturing records and close-out reports, including revenue summaries.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least one year of project experience. Our client is open to candidates currently in a Project Coordinator role who are ready to take ownership of their own projects and step into a Trainee Project Engineer position. Applicants must be organised and possess strong relationship-building skills.
