We are looking for an inspirational teacher with strong creative credentials to join the Creative Art and Design faculty. Applicants will have a good degree with design content and be able to teach across the senior age range including A level.
We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers. If an ECT were appointed to the post, a high level of structured support and guidance (meeting statutory requirements) would be provided to ensure progression towards the successful completion of their training or induction period. We pride ourselves on the level of support and care given to teachers in the early stages of their careers.

* be likely to have experience of computer-generated drawing and design.

Experience of delivering architectural units would be a benefit but is not a requirement for application
The Creative Art and Design Faculty
All pupils take Art and Design including textiles and 3D Design in Year 7 & Year 8 and in Year 9 students opt for Art, Textiles or 3D Design before making their GCSE choices. Textiles and 3D Design following Edexcel and AQA specifications. Photography, Art and 3D Design are all popular options in the sixth form. The faculty is well served with excellent facilities. The team of 8 teachers and 3 technicians share ideas and support each other in this friendly and supportive faculty.
