You will play a key role in shaping financial strategies and supporting decision-making across the organisation. This role will be pivotal in guiding clinical and operational teams to manage budgets effectively and contribute to the overall financial sustainability of the trust.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior managers, providing strategic guidance and insight.
* Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budget reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Deliver in-depth financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
* Support the development of business cases, ensuring they are cost-effective and support service delivery.
* Advise on NHS financial policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence financial decisions and resource allocation.
* Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior leaders, helping drive informed decisions.
About You:
* The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience, ideally gained within the NHS or public sector. You will have strong financial analysis skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, ideally within healthcare or the public sector.
* Strong communication skills, able to present financial insights to senior managers and budget holders.
* Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and budget management.
* A solid understanding of NHS financial policies and frameworks is highly desirable
This is an exciting role working with an excellent organisation salary banding 8b or £60,000 - £65,000 Equivalent.
