About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Net Zero Energy projects, blending technical expertise, team management, and hands-on engineering.
* Oversee key phases of mechanical engineering projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and site-based verification.
* Foster collaboration and guide junior engineers, promoting their development and maintaining a cohesive team atmosphere.
* Work closely with the group lead on resourcing and scheduling to ensure efficient project delivery.
Required Qualifications
A successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chartered Engineer status, experience in regulated sectors, and proficiency in pipe stress analysis and equipment specification writing.
* A Master's degree (MEng/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering and Chartered Engineer status (IMechE membership preferred).
* Experience in regulated sectors such as power, oil & gas, or chemical industries.
* Proficiency in pipe stress analysis, equipment and engineering specification writing, pressure part design, and plant layout.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with flexible work arrangements and a culture that values diversity and collaboration.
