ABC Teachers are seeking a 1:1 SEMH LSP Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Coventry starting as soon as possible. This would be on a fulltime basis.
About the role
You will be working 1:1 with a specific pupil, assisting in classrooms and providing interventions for a specific pupil while de-escalating stressful situations to help the teacher conduct lessons successfully.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
* Effective behaviour management skills
* Strong adaptability
* Great communication skills to be able to cater to the specific child and communicate.
* A strong passion for learning and showing creativity and helping others.
* Patience, Resilience and Reliability
* Strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil.
* Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one.
* Must have previous experience working within education or with SEN or a similar environment and able to provide 2 solid references covering years’ experience.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
