The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our Azure environment. Your expertise in Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure Defender, Azure Security Centre, Azure Firewall, Azure AppGateways, AKS, ACR, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure SQL, Terraform, Azure PowerShell/CLI, Azure DevOps, Azure Policy management, APIM, Private Endpoint, and strong network configuration skills will be crucial to the success of our cloud projects. Candidate Profile Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services. Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to ensure proper authentication and access control. Utilize Azure Defender and Azure Security Centre to monitor and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities. Configure and maintain Azure Firewall and Azure AppGateways to ensure secure network connectivity. Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR) for containerized applications. Design and implement Azure Virtual Networks to provide secure and isolated network environments. Utilize Azure SQL to manage and optimize databases in the Azure environment. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate the deployment and management of Azure resources. Develop and maintain scripts using Azure PowerShell/CLI for automation and configuration management tasks. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and services into the Azure environment. Use Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Implement and manage Azure Policy to enforce governance and compliance requirements. Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM) for API lifecycle management and security. Implement and maintain Azure Private Endpoint for secure and isolated access to Azure services. Implement strong network configuration skills to ensure secure and efficient network connectivity. Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure AD, Azure Defender, Azure Security Centre, Azure Firewall, Azure AppGateways, AKS, ACR, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure SQL, Azure Policy management, APIM, and Private Endpoint. Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Azure PowerShell/CLI. Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Azure certifications (such as Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
