About the role
This job has two main components: to process patient samples related to ongoing clinical trials to perform research related to the myeloma CAR trial program. Thus, as outlined in the person specification, this candidate must possess skills that allow efficient processing of samples, meticulous note-taking, as well as scientific curiosity and aptitude for investigative work.
The candidate will have the ability to work in this exciting area of cancer immunotherapy in one of the country’s pre-eminent units in the field and be trained in a wide range of in vitro and in vivo laboratory techniques subject to interest and aptitude.
This role will involve working across the myeloma and immunotherapy labs in UCL to support the above project.

About you
Successful candidates must have a BSc in biomedical sciences or a related subject, some experience in laboratory methods in molecular biology and cell biology, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
Higher research training, experience, or relevant degree (MSc or equivalent) with laboratory experience are desirable but not essential.
