Affinity Water has a new opportunity available to become an Assistant Project Manager within our Customer Experience Department.
The Assistant Project Manager will play a pivotal supporting role within the Team, contributing to the successful delivery of demand management projects.
The Role:
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Demand Project Manager by ensuring effective coordination and delivery of project activities across household and non-household.
The Assistant Project Manager will also work closely with the Project Manager, providing essential assistance in managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables for projects. The position involves supporting stakeholder communication, progress tracking, and ensuring the smooth operation of all project-related tasks.
What you'll be doing:
* Assisting in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Tracking project performance metrics, including KPIs and budgets, and reporting on progress to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
* Collaborating with team members to ensure activities are coordinated and milestones are achieved.
* Preparing progress reports and supporting communication efforts with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate transparency and alignment.
What you need:
* Previous experience in project coordination or administration.
* Ability to assist in planning and managing projects from initiation to completion.
* Degree or qualification in Project Management.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Ability to track and report on project performance metrics, including KPI's.

* Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (dependent on skills and experience).
* Hours of work: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
