About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment in Void Properties. You will be working on individual jobs to ensure our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction. We need someone whose core trade is either Plastering or Carpentry but can turn their hand at other tasks too like resolving minor plumbing issues. You will work primarily independently but occasionally with another operative. Being able to work affectively on your own and in a team is imperative. Role Criteria: Qualification or proven hands on experience in Plastering and/or Carpentry Experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, tiling, decorating and external works such as fencing, building and bricklaying. Social housing experience Full UK driving licence- To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points. Previous experience of working in Void properties Be a great team player as well as have the ability to work well under your own initiative All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
