Our client is the Northwest's leading installer of Orangeries, Conservatories, Garden Rooms, Glazed Extensions, and Windows and Doors. They are part of a £60m+ turnover group focused on delivering exceptional service to their customers. To support their ongoing business growth, they have an opportunity for an experienced Service/Finishing Engineer to join their team in Kendal, covering the Lake District. This role will include a company vehicle and fuel card for business use.
It is vital for them to deliver exceptional service to customers. To achieve this, it is essential that their Service/Finishing Engineers are quality-focused, experienced, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. Role Responsibilities
* Resolve issues with windows, doors, bi-folds, orangeries, and conservatories.
* Provide excellent customer service while at customers' properties.
* Ensure that all visits are completed on the first visit.
* Deliver high-quality work and ensure quality standards are met at all times.
* Support the Engineering team in resolving any issues as needed.
* Maintain a positive customer experience score.
* Possess strong knowledge and experience of site Health and Safety.
* Demonstrate extremely high standards of work.
* Drive to achieve deadlines and deliver quality work right the first time.
Person Attributes
* Previous experience in all aspects of window, door, and bi-fold fitting, including conservatories and orangeries.
* Ability to fit miscellaneous hardware or fittings such as handles, hinges, glazing, and letterboxes.
* Excellent product knowledge with strong problem-solving skills to identify cost-efficient solutions.
* Good customer service skills with a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers.
* Clean driving license.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Self-motivated individual with a can-do approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines.
A willingness to undertake further training and implement learning into daily work is essential.
